Hi there! I’m back with a colorful graphic card for Day 1 of the MFT April Card Kit Release Countdown. This time I strategically stamped the hearts from the Heart Burst Hellos set, but totally experimented with my Copic markers.
If you pay attention to the lines of the three hearts, you can see that some of them coincide. The eyes are drawn, first towards the center of the middle heart, but then on to the sentiment. My theory is that the three red enamel dots almost form a tilted rectangle and that your brain is automatically looking for the fourth one, to complete it.
I die cut a piece of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum with the Heart Burst Hellos Die-namics, completed it with a black outline, diecut with the Heart Burst Die-namics, and used it to cover the middle heart. To adhere it, I applied Glue Dots under the three enamel dots.
For the sentiment I used the Miss You Die-namics which I die cut out of Black Licorice Prestige (three layers) and Smooth White (1 layer) card stock.
