Blowing candles for the September Birthday Project Challenge

Hi there! Today I’m going to show you a fun interactive card with a cat blowing candles, that I made for the September Birthday Project Challenge at the My Favorite Things Blog. This month we have to include a pet in our projects.

The idea is actually based on the same concept that I used in Tuesday’s interactive twinkling card, where I played with the contrast between light and dark. Let’s see today’s card in action:

When the yellow pulltab is pulled, the black panel underneath the candles is revealed at the same time as the cat rotates its head, so it sort of looks like it’s blowing them out.
