Colorida tarjeta de cumple

¡Holaaa! Ya toca nuevo reto de color (CC164) en el blog de MFT. Yo creé una colorida tarjeta de cumple con la dulce gorila del set de sellos BB Picture Perfect Party Animals.

La paleta de color de esta semana es tan luminosa y bonita! Echadle un vistazo:

At first I thought of creating a card with flowers, but after going through my stash I was inspired to create a colorful Birthday card instead. I started by die cutting one of the sheets from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. Next, I adhered the panel to my A2 card base of Smooth White Card Stock.

After that I stamped the image of the gorilla on a piece of Copic friendly card stock and colored it with the following markers:

• Gorilla: E59, E55, E53, E51, E37, E35, E31
• Birthday hat: RV09, RV06, RV04
• Background: BG18, BG15, BG13
• Garland: R22, R20, BG02, BG01, Y17, Y15

As always, I added the fur detail with Prismacolor pencils. I also drew the dots on the hat with a white gel pen.

The sentiment which I stamped directly onto the frame, die cut with the Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics, is from the Balloon Besties stamp set.

Before adhering the frame to my cardbase, I glued a bunch of leaves die cut with the Grand Greenery dies to the back of it. As a last touch, I added four white enamel dots.
