¡Hola de nuevo! Estoy de vuelta con otra tarjeta para la cuenta atrás al lanzamiento del kit tarjetero de enero de MFT. Esta vez jugué con el embossing y las manchas de tinta.

I started by heat embossing the gorgeous Best Friend Background stamp in white on a piece of Smooth White Card Stock. I also stamped it with Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink on Butterscotch Card Stock. Then I rolled the first panel through my die cutting machine with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and the Heart Rays Die-namics.

Next, I grabbed some black ink and splattered it on my panel. I didn’t like how it was looking, so I went in with the Distressed Patterns stamp set and Extreme Black Hybrid Ink instead…

I love how the black ink stains reveal and highlight parts of the sentiments. To complete the message, I stamped the word friendship from the What Friendship Means stamp set on Smooth White Card Stock and die cut it with one of the dies from the Boxed-in Banners Die-namics. I then adhered the pieces to a black banner die cut with the What Friendship Means Die-namics. It fit perfectly across the heart!

Before gluing it in place, I adhered the white panel to the tone-on-tone panel of Butterscotch Card Stock with foam tape. Then I adhered the ensemble to my 8 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ card base of the same card stock. To finish the card I added some matching enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card! Visit the MFT Blog por more info about the Friendship Card Kit! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! ^_^
