Interactive All Star sneaker card

Hi! For my monthly interactive video tutorial for the MFT Stamps YouTube channel, I made an interactive All Star sneaker card.

I was on vacation in my native Finland, when My Favorite Things launched the super fun Vault Feature, tweaking and re-launching some older favorites and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the amazing LLD All Star High Top Die-namics! Assembling the sneakers is so much fun and easy to do, if you die cut the elements with card stock backed with double sided tape and the result is so realistic.

The card looks just like a regular card, so I stamped a message inside to prompt the receiver to pull on the shoe laces… and when he/she does, different messages appear in the little circular window.

I saw the simple but effective mechanism in this vintage Biedermeier card from the Larry Seidman collection and experimented with it a bit, to figure everything out:
