Hello again! It’s time for Day 5 of the September Release Countdown and today it’s all about sweaters. My card celebrates friendship and coffee and so does the super cute BB Sweater Weather on Safari stamp set, that I used.
I started by stamping the Knitted Sweater Background stamp with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink. Next I stamped two of the critters and one of the sentiments, from the before mentioned Birdie Brown set, on a piece of white card stock. After coloring them, I die cut it using the largest die from the Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.
I cut off a sliver and popped it up on the background with some thin foam tape. Even though the theme is quite wintery, the use of pastels makes it suitable for almost any season and I’m going to send it do a dear friend really soon.
Even though we live in the same village, we hardly get to see eachother and I’d love to grab a coffee with her… She’s the zebra and I’m the giraffe, LOL!
