Here’s a little bit about me…
My name is Laura Dovalo and I am half Finnish and half Spanish. Even as a little girl, I loved drawing and enjoyed the art classes at school in my native country Finland very much. I ended up studying Fine Arts in Galicia, where I currently live with my husband Jose and ours kids Iris (10) and Matias (6) and even though I’ve worked in different areas such as tourism and education, throughout the years, I’ve always enjoyed and created art in my free time.
I began my adventure in scrapbooking with card-making. I had always made them by hand for friends and family members, but when I discovered the great amount of tools, papers, stamps, inks and embellishments on the market, I went mad!
Different projects that I’ve created
I started devouring video tutorials, learning everything I could about scrapbook materials and techniques… and after a couple of years working as a crafts and scrapbook teacher, I started blogging in October 2014.I’m currently a member of two design teams: La Pareja Creativa (since January 2016) and Up & Scrap (since March 2017). In the last few years I’ve been a guest designer for several national and international blogs.
