Today at MFT we’re having a sneak peak at the fantastic March Vault. I’ve made a fun graduation card with a light bulb featuring a couple of the Laina Lamb Design products.

I started by die cutting the elements from the LLD Lightbulb Die-namics out of Porcelain White, Lemon Drop and Brushed Silver card stock. Then I colored the bulb with the Following Copic markers: Y06, Y04 and Y00. I left a couple of white highlights to add some dimension to it.

Next, I partially stamped the cool sentiment from the LLD Happy Graduation set in Black Hybrid Ink on a panel of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum. To complete it, I heat embossed the word “bright” in yellow to match the light bulb. I adhered it to a card base covered with a patterned paper from the MSTN Pretty in Plaid Paper Pad.

After that I die cut a couple of banners from the Blueprints 24 Die-namics and layered them. I actually made them 1/4″ shorter so that they wouldn’t cover the sentiment. This was the perfect spot for the light bulb that I decorated with a hat from the LLD Graduation Accents Die-namics.

As a last touch I added some yellow enamel stars. I hope you enjoyed today’s card! Welcome back tomorrow for the March Vault Release Day!
