Today I’m celebrating the MFT April Release with an elegant card featuring a honeycomb, ink blending and touches of gold.

I kicked off the MFT April Release Countdown with THIS card featuring ink blended hexagons. For today’s card I used the left over piece of card stock, which I had blended with the following Distress Oxide Inks: Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina, Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber. I used the Peek-a-Boo Honeycomb Die-namics and largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to cut my panel.

Next, I popped it up on an A2 card base of Blue Beyond Card Stock with a layer of foam tape. I made an extra sentiment when I created my Day 4 card using a die from the Twice Blessed Die-namics (in Gold Shine Card Stock) and Blessings Die-namics (in Heavyweight Translucent Vellum), which came in handy for today’s card.

To complete the sentiment I added a banner (cut with the Skinny Strips Die-namics out of Blue Beyond Card Stock). It features a partially heat embossed sentiment from the Blessings stamp set. As a last touch I added five gold hexagons. That’s it from me for today! I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Happy shopping!
