Mason jar mug card tutorial

Interactive slider card with mason jar mug.

Hello! It’s time for my monthly tutorial on the MFT YouTube Channel! This time I’m sharing a fun reveal slider card with a mason jar mug.

Before I tell you more about the card, let’s check it out in action in the video clip below:

In order to create a more realistic looking mason jar mug I cut a window in my panel and backed it with acetate. In the tutorial you’ll see how I separated the handle and adhered it to the back of the acetate. That way the lemonade doesn’t look like it’s flowing through the handle.

I used dies from the Mason Jar Mug Die-namics and stamps (the straw and sentiment) from the Mason Jar Labels but you could use any bottle or glass dies that you have to create a version of this card…

That sentiment just goes perfectly with this card, doesn’t it? The before mentioned set has more cute stamps that I could have used, but I went for a clean and simple look…

The slider panel can be pulled out completely, but if you wanted to, you could add a couple of strips of cellophane to prevent this from happening. Check out this other tutorial of mine featuring a slider card with multiple images, to see what I’m talking about.

That’s all for today! Here’s the link to the tutorial once more… Thanks for stopping by!
