Hello! It’s time for another interactive card tutorial for the MFT YouTube Channel. This time I created a slimline magnetic reveal slider Halloween card.
It features some cute images from the YUZU Best Witches stamp set and the fun Hey, Ghoul Die-namics. Before I get into more detail, let’s check out the card in action in the video clip below:
I made a similar Halloween card last year with a cauldron and no magnets that you can check out HERE. This version is slightly larger but it’ll still fit inside a Slimline Envelope.
As you can see I fussy cut my images and left a thick black outline so that they wouldn’t stand out too much from the dark background. The broom is quite thin so I added some Glossy Accents on the back of it to make it sturdier. It’s a trick that I learned from my friend Elsa many years ago.
If you don’t feel like ink blending such a large panel you could just use a dark card stock like Eiffel Tower or Black Licorice. HERE’s the link to the video tutorial once more. See you on YouTube!
