Yay, today I’m celebrating the MFT August Release sharing a card with multilayer stenciling! It features the Tall Hello Die-namics, the Paint Strokes Stencil and a bunch of blue shades of Premium Dye Ink.

I made it for my friend Katja who stopped by on a brief visit during her summer vacation in this corner of Spain. She lives 435 miles away (700km) so it was a great surprise to see her and to meet her sweet hubby Luis. By the way she really loved the card!

It was a lot harder than I had imagined to get the layered stenciling just right and I had to try three times but I think the result is worth it. I started out with a panel die cut with the largest die from the gorgeous Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I also used the following Premium Dye Inks: Caribbean Sea, Blue Yonder, Summer Splash, Lazy Day and Tropical Teal.

The card is quite self-explanatory so I’ll just leave you with a list of MFT card stock that I used: Smooth White, Black Licorice and Silver Shine. Please come back next week for my monthly interactive card tutorial. HERE’s a link to last month’s interactive card in case you missed it.

OK, that’s all for today! Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to visit the MFT Blog and YouTube Channel for more inspiration from the DT.
