Night to day slider card tutorial

Interactive night to day card for MFT. Video tutorial available on the MFT YouTube Channel!

Hello there! Today I’m sharing a fun “night to day” slider card that I made for the MFT Stamps YouTube Channel with a couple of the new products.

It seems like forever since I created an interactive card, but one of the sentiments from the Barnyard Birthday stamp set gave me a fun idea. Before I get into details, check it out in action in the video clip below:

As you can see, the main panel slides out revealing a sunrise, critters and sentiment.

For the sky I blended the following Premium Dye Inks: BoysenberryPoppin Pink, Fire Coral and Butterscotch.

I also added some drops of Jalapeño Popper and Field Day ink to the grass panels, cut with one of the dies from the Slimline Grassy Hills Die-namics.

In the tutorial I share how I colored the cute letters from the MSTN Hip, Hip Yay Alphabet to make them look “farm chique”.  For the critters (and moon) I used the following Copic markers:

Moon: W1, W00

Chick: Y17, Y15, R37, R35, YR24, R35

Rooster: BG18, BG15, YR24, YR21, E35, E33, E31, R35
