Christmas box card with moose

Christmas box card with moose for MFT.

Today I’m sharing a Christmas box card with the cute moose from the BB Merry Christmoose stamp set for the MFT September Outside the Box Challenge.

I’ve only used this set once before, for THIS card, so I was dying to play with it again. I stamped all of the images (except the big mug) on Copic friendly card stock, die cut them and colored them with Copic markers.

Next, I die cut all of the pieces for the box card itself using dies from the Outside the Box Die-namics and Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics. Before I assembled my card, I decorated the background and sides with patterned paper from the Very Merry Paper Pad.

After that I moved on to the best part… adding the images. The tree seemed a little bit frail so I die cut another piece and glued it to the back of the colored one. I used strips of foam tape for the socks and moose, but the rest of the elements were adhered to the shelves with liquid glue.

It’s always magical to see how such a 3D card fits inside of an A2 envelope… You can even make the back panel taller, like I did in THIS recent Halloween box card, and it’ll still fit inside of a square 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (14cm x 14cm) envelope.

Thank you for your visit! I hope you join in the fun at the MFT Blog and you could be the lucky winner of a $50 gift voucher.
