Typographic slimline Christmas card

Typographic slimline Christmas card for the September Slimline Challenge at the MFT Blog.

Hello again! I’m back with a typographic slimline Christmas card for the MFT September Slimline Challenge.

I made it using very few products but it still took a while due to all the die cutting, lining up and adhering of the letters… Just my kind of fun!

Typographic slimline Christmas card by Laura Dovalo.

I started by cutting a panel out of Smooth White Card Stock using the rectangular die from the Slimline Starter Kit Die-namics. Next, I die cut the letters from the Joy, Peace, Love Die-namics out of three colors of card stock: Caribbean Sea PrestigeRed Hot and Jalapeño Popper.

I divided the panel in three (vertically) and drew soft pencil lines to be able to easily line up the letters. To give them some dimension I adhered them with slivers of thin foam tape.

I’m quite happy with today’s card and I hope that it has inspired you as well! If you’re interested in this type of card you can find a whole bunch more HERE on my blog.
