Hello again! It’s time for a new Weekly Sketch Challenge (WSC517) at the MFT Blog. I was inspired to create a tropical card with the BB Polynesian Paradise stamp set, that I had never used before.

As always, i followed the sketch closely and went through my stash in search for inspiration for the frame, main images, sentiment and horizontal element…
It was a lot of fun to color the toucan, chameleon and flower. I didn’t want to leave a white border around them, so I fussy cut them instead of using the matching dies. Some parts of the chameleon were too delicate, so I colored them with a dark green marker to blend in with the Jellybean Green cardbase.

As a last touch, I added Clear Round Drops to some of the leaves (they almost look like dew drops) and Glossy Accents to the eyes of the critters.
That’s it for today. I hope my card has inspired you to participate in this fun challenge. You could win a $50 gift card to the MFT Boutique! HERE’s another card with tropical flowers, that you might enjoy before you leave. Thank you for stopping by!
