Hello again! Today the MFT October Card Kit Release goes live and I’ve created a slimline Christmas card for the occasion.

I started by diecutting my panel of Tropical Teal Card Stock with the main die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics. Then I heat embossed it using the Paint Splatter Background.
Next, I die cut a couple of slopes out of Smooth White Card Stock with dies from the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics. I of course ran them through my die cutting machine once more with the faux stitched slimline rectangle die, that I mentioned before.

For the sentiment, I chose the beautiful Stacked Merry Die-namics, which I die cut out of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock, backed with Stick-It adhesive. To complete it, I added a little banner created with the following products; Electric Red Card Stock, Little Notes Sentiment Strips Die-namics and Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set. It looked lonely, so I perched a bird, from the Joyous Holidays stamp set, right next to it.

Next, I moved on to the houses and trees, die cut with the Tiny Houses Die-namics. The fun thing about this set is that the different sizes of the elements allow you to add perspective and depth to your scenes. I also added a little bit of shading with the following Copic markers; Y13, Y11, E50 and G43.

If you liked them as much as me, don’t think about it too long, before you head on to the MFT Boutique. Thank you so much for stopping by!
