Hi there! Today we’re kicking off the countdown to the Birthday themed MFT July Release with Day 5. I’ve made a Birthday card with big balloons and the camouflage inlay technique, that I hope you’ll like.

To create the colorful background, I used the Big Balloon Stencil and the following Premium Dye Inks; Wild Cherry, Poppy Premium, Coral Crush, Peach Bellini, Pineapple, Lemon Drop, Gumdrop Green, Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry, Berrylicious, Grape Jelly and Wild Wisteria.

Once it was done, I diecut the panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and the Big Birthday Wishes Die-namics. I also die cut some white fun foam with the latter, so that I could do the inlay technique.

I adhered the die cut panel to a same sized panel with a bunch of adhesive (and then to the cardbase) and inserted the foam letters one by one. Next I glued the card stock letters in their places.
