Hi there! I’m back with a CAS card with a diagonal design, that I created to inspire you to participate in the Weekly Sketch Challenge (WSC481) at the MFT Blog.
This time I didn’t include all of the elements of the sketch… I left out the rectangular piece in the middle, simply because I wanted to stamp the sentiment diagonally.

To create the diagonal element or “road”, I did some partial die cutting with the main die from the Straight Up Rainbow Die-namics and two tones of cardstock (Steel Grey and Smooth White). I adhered the strips to a white A2 top fold cardbase and finished with a strip of grass from the Pop-Up Wiper Card Components Die-namics in Sour Apple Card Stock.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Zippy Zebras set to the cardbase with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I also stamped and die cut the speeding zebra, leaf and butterfly. I colored them with the following Copic markers:
- W5, W3, W1, W00, E01, E000 for the zebra
- BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000 for the scooter
- G46, G43, G40 for the leaf and butterfly

That’s it from me for today! Check out the cards of my Design Teammates at the MFT Blog and join in the fun for a chance to win a $50 voucher to the MFT Store.
