Hello! The amazing MFT July Release Countdown continues and today I’m sharing a simple card with ink blending, Copic coloring and cupcakes.

I started by stamping and masking the cupcakes, piece of cake and girl from the All the Cupcakes and PI Birthday Girl stamp sets on a piece of Copic friendly card stock, with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

Next, I grabbed the Window Panes Stencil and the following Premium Dye Inks, to ink my panel; Berrylicious, Blu Raspberry, Coral Crush, Peach Bellini, Gumdrop Green, Sour Apple, Pineapple and Lemon Drop.

I then stamped one of the sentiments from the PI Birthday Girl set in the middle and die cut my panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. Thus my initial idea of making a one layer card went out the window…

I adhered the panel to an 8 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ (22,2cm x 14,3cm) cardbase with a sheet of fun foam and added some matching enamel dots to complete my sweet card. Thank you for stopping by today. I suppose you’ve already been to the MFT Blog, but if not, head on there for more info and inspiration on today’s featured products.
