We’re down to the last Countdown Day before the MFT April Release goes live and I’m back to share a card with cute puppies and a fan.
They’re from the adorable YUZU Payful Pups stamp set. I think the illustrator Yan, really did an amazing job capturing the cuteness of the puppies! As always, when I get to color an image of a dog similar to my “Panda” (a Beagle-Spanish Bloodhound mix) I do it in her likeness.
For these images I used the following colors: W10, W7, W3, W1, W00, E37, E35, E33, BG02, BG01, R24, R22, C2, C00, RV14 and RV12. But first I stamped the images directly onto a panel cut with the largest die from the Stitched Pinking Edge Rectangle STAX Die-namics, masked them and did some ink blending. I used Orange Zest, Candied Yam and Lemon Drop Premium Dye Inks for that.
For the sentiment I did some partially stamping and heat embossing on a banner cut with the Skinny Strips Die-namics out of Black Licorice Card Stock. As a last touch, I added Glossy Accents to the noses and some orange enamel stars. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I used the Whimsical Woodgrain Background stamp to partially stamp the flow of air blowing from the fan. That’s it from me for today!
