Yay, it’s time to kick off the MFT April Release Countdown! I made a Mother’s Day card with a couple of sweet bunnies, for the occasion.

They’re from the adorable SY Next to You stamp set. I stamped them (and the rest of the images) on Copic friendly card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, die cut them with the matching dies and colored them with Copic markers.

Next, I went to work on the colorful background. I did some simple ink blending with the following colors of Distress Ink: Fired Brick, Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade. Of course I added some texture with water droplets before die cutting my panel.

For that I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and the new Best Mom Ever Die-namics. I also die cut the letters out of black fun foam to make my camouflaged sentiment easier to read.

To finish my Mother’s Day card, I added the sweet bunnies, butterflies and foliage. I can’t wait to see what my dear teammates made with today’s featured products! Won’t you join me at the MFT Blog for a quick look?
