Hi there! The MFT March Release Countdown continues and I’m back with a card featuring stitches and a sweet girl from the Pure Innocence line.

The stamp set is called PI On the Mend and features the main image, a cute spool of thread and three different sentiments. I used the spool to do some tone-on-tone stamping on the card base of Caribbean Sea Card Stock.

The beautiful panel was cut with the second largest die from the Stitched Eyelet Lace Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Before adding the stitches I stamped the sentiment on it with Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink.

Coloring larger images is really fun! I used the following Copic markers for it:
Hair, teddy bear and stool: E37, E35, E33, W7
Clothes: B95, B93, BG23, BG15, BG13
Shoes and socks: R39, R37, R35, W3, W1
Skin: E11, E21, E000

Finally, after die cutting the image with the matching die I snipped off the thread part and added a real one in red. It was really easy to pull it through the eyelets and adhere the end behind the panel. That’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed my card.
