Love themed slider card tutorial

Hello there! It’s time for a new tutorial on the MFT YouTube channel. I made a love themed slider card that I hope you’ll enjoy.

It features a couple of adorable images from the new Paper Planes stamp set. Before I tell you more about it let’s check it out in action in the video clip below:

As you can see, when we pull on the slider panel, the three hearts and the sentiment turn pink. The mechanism for this card is really simple but I do share some useful tips and tricks in the tutorial that you wouldn’t want to miss.

One of the dogs reminded me of our Panda (Beagle-Spanish Blood Hound mix) so I colored it to look like her. Here are the Copic markers that I used for all of the coloring: W10, W7, W1, W00, B97, B95, B93, RV09, RV06, RV04, R20, R00, E37, E35, E33 and E31. The sentiment is from the Lovely Lions Stamp Set. I partially stamped it and heat embossed it on a piece of Poppin’ Pink Card Stock, which I later cut with a banner from the new Tall Tag Die-namics. I paired it with the word “love”, die cut with letters from the Essential Alphabet Die-namics.

The largest heart is from the All Occasion Icons Die-namics and the two smaller ones are from the Band-Aids Die-namics. I love how they pop against the cloud background when they are revealed!
