Hello! I’m back to share a card with sweet bears, from the YUZU Sweet Honey Bear set, for Review Day 2 of the MFT September Release.
First, I started by doing some ink blending with a stencil, cut out of acetate with the Watercolor Wash Free Form Die-namics, and the following Distress Oxide Inks: Walnut Stain, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber.
Next, I stamped the bees and bears and cut them with the matching dies. It was so much fun to color them with Copic markers and color pencils! I also die cut three layers of letters for the sentiment out of Black Licorice Card Stock using dies from the Impact Alphabet Die-namics. The sentiment (from the Honey Bees set) banner was cut with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics.
Once I had all of my elements ready I could adhere them to a black A2 card base. I used foam adhesive for the banner, bees and sweet bears. Love how they pop out from the background!
