As I explained yesterday, it’s time for the MFT July Release! I’m celebrating with a colorful card featuring an XL unicorn.
I made it with the super cute new You’re a Unicorn Die-namics. After die cutting all of the pieces (except for the eye and horn) out of Smooth White Card Stock, I colored them with Copic markers.
For the background I used the Tiny Clouds Stencil from the June Release and the following Premium Dye Inks: Ripe Raspberry, Red Hot, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Cornflower, Boysenberry and Grape Jelly. The colorful clouds were a little too busy to let my XL unicorn shine so I die cut a frame with one of the dies from the Classic Rectangle Frames Die-namics out of Brushed Silver. For the inside piece I chose Heavyweight Translucent Vellum, which totally did the trick!
Before adhering everything to my A2 card base of Sno Cone Card Stock I heat embossed the sentiment from the One in a Unicorn stamp set on the vellum. As a last touch I added a couple of matching enamel stars.
