Hi there! We’re halfway through the MFT May Release Countdown and I’m back to share an elegant card with a foiled octagon.

I used the largest die from the Hot Foil Octagon Frames Die-namics and gold foil to decorate my main panel. Next, I die cut it with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and one of the dies from the Stitched Designer Octagon STAX Die-namics.

I die cut a second same sized panel on which I stamped the sentiment from the Inside & Out Sending Sunshine set. To really make it pop I used Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.

I also chose this color for the card base. To accentuate the gold foiled octagon I matted my white panels with a slighty larger one in Gold Shine Card Stock. I used foam tape to adhere the main panel.

This allowed me to insert a bunch of the leaves and flowers from the SY Peaceful Birds set, which I heat embossed in platinum on Heavyweight Translucent Vellum and die cut with the matching dies. As a last touch I added three clear enamel dots.
