Yay, it’s time to kick off the MFT May Release Countdown and I’m doing so with a card featuring an octagon shaped window and a patio scene.

I started by die cutting a bunch of the elements from the Privacy Fence Die-namics, Outdoor Décor Die-namics and Patio Plants Die-namics out of Sour Apple, Smooth White and Summer Splash card stock. After filing the edges of all of the die cuts with a nail file, I colored the tree tops with Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink.

Next, I assembled them with liquid glue and adhered them to a panel of Sour Apple Card Stock, which I attached to a horizontal A2 card base . I also added some shading and detail with the following Copic markers: BG01, G43, G40, W1, W00, YR24 and YR21.

After creating my little scene I cut a window panel with the Stitched Designer Octagon STAX Die-namics and largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. Before adhering it to my card I stamped one of the sentiments from the Outdoor Oasis Sentiments on it.
