Hello again! We’re halfway through the MFT April Release Countdown and I’m back to share a card with silver foiled hexagons.

It was the first time that I used my foiling machine, which I bought two years ago and I’m really happy with the result. However, I started by doing some tone-on-tone stamping with the Fresh Foliage stamp set and Blue Yonder Premium Dye Ink on Blue Yonder Card Stock.

I was pretty sure that the Hot Foil Double Hexagon Die-namics set would look gorgeous as is, so I ran it through my die cutting machine without taking the dies apart. After that I cut my panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and popped it onto my card base of Something Blue Card Stock.

To finish the card I added a banner cut out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics. The sentiment, which I heat embossed in silver to match the foiled hexagons, is from the Word Bouquet set.

As a last touch I added three matching gemstones. Thanks for stopping by! Check out what my talented teammates made with today’s featured products on the MFT Blog.
