The MFT April Release Countdown continues and I’m back with a greeting card featuring a praying girl from the YUZU In My Prayers set.

I started by creating a background with the Ray of Light Stencil and the following Distress Oxide Inks: Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Evergreen Bough, Broken China, Faded Jeans and Vilted Violet. Before lifting the stencil I added little dots with a white gel pen. I also flicked some water drops all over the ink blending.

Once the ink had dried, I die cut my panel using the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. I adhered it to a card base of Grape Jelly Card Stock and went on to stamping, die cutting and coloring the praying girl from the before mentioned set with the following markers: E000, E21, E11, E04, V09, V06, V05, YR27, YR24 and YR21.

For the sentiment I used dies from the Twice Blessed (in Gold Shine Card Stock) and Blessings Die-namics (Heavyweight Translucent Vellum). I actually slightly modified the die cut word which spells: blessings. To complete the message I added a banner with a partially stamped phrase from the Blessings stamp set.

As a last touch I added some matching enamel stars. That’s it for today. I can’t wait to see what my teammates made over on the MFT Blog… Come and check it out!
