Card with movie-going pig and popcorn

Card with pig and popcorn for the MFT March Card Kit Release.

Yay, today I’m celebrating the MFT March Card Kit Release with a greeting card featuring a cute movie-going pig and popcorn.

 

I started by die cutting two seats with dies from the Save Me a Seat Die-namics and the following colors of card Stock: Jalapeño Popper, Prickly Pear and Silver Shine. Next, I cut a box of popcorn from the Movie Munchies Die-namics out of Smooth White and Red Hot card stock.

After assembling the seats and adhering them to my A2 card base of Eiffel Tower Card Stock I went through my stamps looking for a sitting critter. The piggy from the YUZU Pig Time Fun was the perfect fit! I colored it with the following Copic markers: RV34, RV32, E04, C4 and C2. I also added some shading with a gray Prismacolor pencil.

The sentiment is from the Picture-Perfect Sentiments set and the speech bubble from the Keep on Rockin’ Die-namics. I die cut it in the same colors as the popcorn and it adds the perfect finishing touch!
