Hello again! I’m back with a card featuring a fun movie theater filled with people, for Day 1 of the MFT March Card Kit Release Countdown.
I started by die cutting a bunch of the elements from the Heads Up Die-namics in different colors of card stock. For the darker skin tones I chose Kraft and Milk Chocolate and for the lighter ones I colored Smooth White with E00, E21 and E11 Copic markers. I chose the same colors for the hairs but added Cement Gray, Candied Yam and Black Licorice to the mix.
Next, I went in with sharp Prismacolor pencils to draw hair strands and curls and it really makes a difference! I also added texture and patterns to some of the clothing. After die cutting (Red Hot and Eiffel Tower) the rows of seats from the At the Movies Die-namics and adhering them to my card base, I could finally complete the movie theater with all of the people! They make the scene come alive!
The fun sentiment is from the Picture-Perfect Sentiments set. I heat embossed it in white and added some enamel stars to complete the card. I also added some shading to the seats with R39, R37 and R35 Copic markers.
