Yay, the wait is over and today I’m celebrating the MFT March Release with a clean and simple, makeup themed card that I hope you’ll enjoy.
I started by stamping a rainbow of brush strokes using stamps from the Abstract Art set and the following premium dye inks: Poppin’ Pink, Amarena Cherry, Moroccan Spice, Candied Yam, Butterscotch, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Prickly Pear, Field Day, Caribbean Sea, Summer Splash, Something Blue, Blue Beyond, Boysenberry, Grape Jelly, Grapesicle, Cotton Candy and Princess Pink.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Thrilled for You set with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I could have stopped right there for a really CAS look, but I decided to add a couple of makeup elements die cut with the Iconic Beauty Die-namics.

For the eyeshadow palette (and brush) I used the following colors of card stock: Poppin’ Pink, Lemon Drop, Caribbean Sea, Cotton Candy, Black Licorice and Mirror Card. After assembling the pieces with liquid glue, I adhered them to the card base with a layer of foam tape.
I thought of adding a couple of matching enamel dots but finally decided against it. In my opinion, the card didn’t need any more embellishments. What do you think?
