We’re down to the last Countdown day before the MFT March Release goes live and I made a cool Rock n’ Roll themed card for the occasion.

I started by doing some ink blending, on a piece of Smooth White Card Stock, with the Sunny Rays Stencil and the following Distress Oxide Inks: Fired Brick, Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade. Yep, it’s definitely one of my favorite combos… HERE you can see another recent card with the same one.

Once the ink was dry I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to cut a panel which I adhered to an A2 card base of Black Licorice Card Stock. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the new Thrilled for You stamp set on a banner cut with the Skinny Strips Die-namics.

I then die cut all of the elements from the Keep on Rockin’ Die-namics out of the following colors of card stock: Smooth White, Black Licorice, Heavyweight Translucent Vellum and Brushed Silver Card Stock. The “you” that I used for the heart is also from the Thrilled for You stamp set.

That’s it for today! Do visit the MFT Blog for more inspiration and come back tomorrow!
