Yay, today I’m celebrating the MFT November Card Kit Release with a card featuring coffee beans and a cute mug.

I started by heat embossing the Coffee Bean Background Stamp on an A2 card base of Milk Chocolate Card Stock. Next, I used one of the dies from the Torn Paper Edges Die-namics to cut a panel of Caribbean Sea and another of Heavyweight Vellum card stock.

Before layering and adhering them to the card base I stamped the fun sentiment from the Coffee Break Stamp Set on the upper edge of the main panel, with Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink. I also heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, which makes it look almost black.

Next, I die cut the mug with an inlaid heart using dies from the Coffee Break Companions Die-namics. I stacked a couple of layers to make it sturdy enough to hold a folded bill. To adhere it to the panel I used liquid glue on the upper edge of the mug and a strip of foam tape on the lower half.

In order to ground the mug, I added a shadow die cut with the Oval Shadows Die-namics out of Tropical Teal Card Stock. I also added a little banner, which complements the main sentiment, die cut with the Skinny Strips Die-namics.

As a last touch I added some coffee beans cut with one of the dies from the Coffee Break Companions Die-namics. I hope you enjoyed all of my projects featuring the Christmas Cash Kit products! As always, you’ll find more inspiration on the MFT Blog!
