Yay, the MFT September Release Countdown is over and to celebrate I’m sharing a colorful card featuring a boy with animals!
I started by stamping the images from the YUZU Hoodie Weather set on a panel die cut with the second largest die from the Elegant Stitched STAX Die-namics. I had to do a little bit of masking to add the hedgehog in the boys lap. Next, I colored them with the following Copic markers: E11, E21, E000, BG18, BG15, B97, B95, B93, B91, R29, R27, R24, E35, E33, YR27, YR24, YR21, W3, W1 and W00.
After covering them with masking paper, I did some ink blending with these Premium Dye Inks: Red Hot, Moroccan Spice, Candied Yam, Butterscotch, Kraft and Jalapeño Popper. Once the ink was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment from the same set on the upper edge of the panel.
I also heat embossed the Touch of Texture Background onto my card base of Milk Chocolate Card Stock. As a last touch, I tried adding a couple of enamel dots but it didn’t look right… Thank you for stopping by! Happy shopping!
