I’m back with another card featuring colorful and artsy décor created with products from the MFT May Card Kit: Greetings from the Couch.
This time I started by creating the background with two patterned papers from the Finishes and Textiles Paper Pad and the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.
Next, I die cut all of my elements out of Caribbean Sea, Summer Splash, Amarena Cherry, Butterscotch, Milk Chocolate, Jalapeño Popper, Kraft and Gold Shine card stock. Here’s a list of the dies that I used:
- Take a Seat Die-namics (armchair and pillows)
- Fundamental Furnishings (lamp and table)
- Potted Plants (pot and plant)
- Décor and More (mug, bowl and frames)
I thought it would be fun to create my own “paintings” so I grabbed the Distressed Patterns stamp set and Red Hot, Butterscotch, Caribbean Sea and Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink and went to work…
The golden frames added the perfect artsy touch, don’t you think? And I absolutely love the sweet sentiment from the Couch Potato stamp set.
