Hello! It’s time to kick off the brief countdown to the launch of the adorable Greetings from the Couch Card Kit. I made a sweet card with a sleeping baby that I hope you’ll enjoy.
Before I get into detail about my card, let’s have a look at the kit:
First of all, I die cut the couch from the Take a Seat Die-namics out of Caribbean Sea and Milk Chocolate card stock. After assembling it, I used the following Copic markers to shade it: BG18, BG15 and BG13. Next, I stamped the sleeping baby from the Babysaurus stamp set on it.
I stamped it a second time on Copic friendly card stock, colored it, fussy cut it and adhered it right on top without giving it a haircut. After finishing the couch I went to work on the panel…
I die cut it out of Smooth White Card Stock with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and the main die from the Picture Window Die-namics. For the floor and curtains I used patterned papers from the Finishes and Textiles Paper Pad. For the rug I chose a piece of paper from the Colorful Canvas Paper Pad.
The rest of the decorative elements are from the Potted Plants Die-namics and Décor and More Die-namics. I used the following card stock to die cut them:
- Caribbean Sea
- Summer Splash
- Amarena Cherry
- Jalapeño Popper
- Kraft
- Blue Beyond
- Gold Shine.
