The MFT April Release Countdown continues and for Day 4 I’m sharing a simple card with the cute pups from the Dog Squad stamp set.

I thought it would be fun to create my own patterned paper, so I grabbed a piece of Red Hot Card Stock, the little bone stamp, Versamark ink and some white embossing powder and went to work…

Once I was done, I trimmed the panel to cover about 2/3 of my A2 card base of Smooth White Card Stock. Next, I cut a little strip of Black Licorice Card Stock for my sentiment. I made it wide enough so that the cute pups would fit comfortably.

After stamping, coloring and fussy cutting them I adhered them with foam tape and added some Glossy Accents to their noses.

As a last touch, I added a red enamel heart. I hope you enjoyed my simple card. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out the MFT YouTube Channel and MFT Blog for more inspiration!
