We’re down to the last Countdown Day before the MFT February Release goes live and I created a CAS card with the fish balloons from the fun Purr-fect Pairs stamp set.
Since I wanted to add my own strings, after stamping them, I fussy cut the balloons instead of using the matching dies. Then I colored them with the following Copic markers: BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11, G14, G12, Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11, R29, R27, R24, R22 and R20. For the cat I used W7, W5, W3, W1, W00 and R00.
Next, I applied drops of Glossy Accents to the back of the balloons so that I could adhere silver strings to them. I also added thin foam squares to make them stand out more.
For the XL letters I chose the ones from the Personalized Tags Die-namics. I die cut them three times out of Smooth White Card Stock and once out of a piece of patterned paper from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad. After stacking all of the layers (and punching a second hole in the “u”) I tied the balloon to the holes.
To finish the sentiment, I made a banner with a partially stamped sentence from the Purr-fect Pairs set. As a last touch I added some clear drops.
