Hello again! We’re reached the middle of the MFT February Release Countdown and I’m back to show you a slimline card with a cute personalized message.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you propably know that I love playing with Alphabet dies and stamps to create wall art or cards with a personalized message. Check out THIS recent card and video tutorial, where I share all of my tips and tricks.

This time I started by ink blending a background in rainbow colors with the new MSTN Classic Edges Stencil and following Premium Dye Inks: Wild Cherry, Moroccan Spice, Orange Zest, Candied Yam, Butterscotch, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Cornflower and Grape Jelly. I used the grid of the cutting mat as a guide, to place the stencil for each color and it worked perfectly.

Next, I stamped some of the words, letters and numbers from the Hip Hip Yay Day, Hip Hip Yay Alphabet and Hip Hip Yay Numbers on Heavyweight Translucent Vellum. Although you can’t really tell from the pictures, I also used clear embossing powder for some shine and volume…

Once I cut my panel and all of the elements, I could plan the exact placement of them and use Prismacolor pencils to color the inside of them to match the background..

As a last touch, I added some matching enamel dots and hearts. Check out what my talented teammates made with today’s featured products and head on to the My Favorite Things YouTube Channel for more inspiration.
