Hi there! Today I’m stopping by to share a video tutorial of some Nordic style Christmas tags that I created for the A Very Crafty Holiday event at the MFT Blog.
I used the cute Gift Tag Die-namics, the gorgeous Iconic Christmas stamp set and matching dies in a way that allows you to easily mass produce these simple Christmas tags.
My favorite color combo for the holidays is red, white and kraft and I die cut the tag elements out of Amarena Cherry Prestige, Smooth White, Kraft and Gold Shine card stock.
For the stamping I chose the following Premium Dye Inks: Jalapeño Popper and Wild Cherry. I also heat embossed the images in white, gold, copper and platinum.
In the above screen shot from the video tutorial, you can see how I organised them on my desk to easily find what I needed. They were so easy to prepare, that I made enough for at least 20 more tags!
You can make the Christmas tags as detailed or as clean and simple as you like and they will still look great. Personally, I prefer the ones with a white background because I’m not a fan of the white border but to each his own.
