Hello there! For this month’s video tutorial on the MFT YouTube Channel I created an interactive Halloween slimline card.

It features stamps from the adorable BB Witch Way Is the Candy stamp set as well as dies from the Everything but the Broom Die-namics. Let’s have a look at the card in action:
As you can see, the mechanism is really simple. When we pull the slider panel, the bubbles are highlighted and a cute frog appears from inside the witche’s cauldron.

In the video, I share the step by step process so that you can create your own interactive Halloween slimline card. If you want to make it even simpler you can skip the frog or use a magnet instead of a strip of acetate or card stock, to attach it to the slider panel.

For my ink blending I used the following premium dye inks: Boysenberry, Grape Jelly and Grapesicle for the sky (and slider panel) and Field Day, Jalapeño Popper and Sour Apple, for the ground. I also applied a strip of Limelight (the bubbles) to the slider panel.

Below you can find the measurements for all of the elements, but do check out the tutorial for the instructions.
Measurements for interactive Halloween slimline card
Sky panel: 3 ¼” x 4 1/8” (8,3cm x 10,5cm)
Hill panel: 3 ¼” x 4 5/8” (8,3cm x 10,7cm)
Secondary panel: 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ (8,3cm x 21cm)
