Today I’m celebrating the MFT August Release with a simple interactive witch card that I created combining new products with older ones.
It has a really simple mechanism that makes the witch’s legs swing when you move the card. Let’s check it out in action in the brief video clip below, before I tell you more about it.
After die cutting the legs from the Everything But the Broom Die-namics and the underwear from the Heart Air Balloon Die-namics, I used two of the dies from the Interactive Swing Die-namics to die cut two circles each out of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock.

I adhered two Spin & Slide Discs to the center of the smaller circles and the legs to the larger ones. Then I punched a couple of 0.25″ (0,6cm) holes in my 3 11/16″ x 5″ (9,4cm x 12,6cm) panel of Smooth White Card Stock.

I inserted the Spin & Slide Discs in their places and adhered the legs to them. The outlines that I had previously drawn, helped me to center these.

Before moving on, I decorated the witch’s underwear with stamps from the Halloween Hoo set. I needed them to cover the mechanism, so I adhered some thick foam dots to the back of them and to the panel, in places that wouldn’t hinder the movements of the legs.

Once I adhered the butt in its place, I finished decorating the card.

I left it quite clean and simple and only added some enamel stars, and a little banner with a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Boos set, cut with the Itty Bitty Strips Die-namics.

Since I didn’t have any black stars, I colored some green ones with a black Copic marker. That’s it from me for today. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a comment and I’ll answer it ASAP.
