Slimline card with bees

Slimline card with bees for the June Slimline Challenge at the MFT Blog.

Hi there! Today I’m stopping by to show you a slimline card with bees that I made for the June Slimline Challenge at the MFT Blog. This month’s theme is “things with wings” and I’m sure that you will come up with something fun!

I started by die cutting a panel of Smooth White Card Stock with the rectangular die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics. Then I used the Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil and Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink to create the sky.

After that I created the grass with one of the dies from the Slimline Grassy Hills Die-namics and Sour Apple Card Stock. To create some texture, I splattered it with the following Premium Dye Inks: Field Day, Sour Apple and Jalapeño Popper.

Next, I die cut my XL sentiment with letters from the Impact Alphabet Die-namics out of rainbow colored card stock. I stacked a couple of layers to make them stand out more.

The cute bees are from the We Beelong stamp set. I stamped them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, die cut them with matching dies and colored them with the following Copic markers: YR24, Y17, Y15, W7, W5, B00 and B000.

To finish the card I added some small flowers die cut with the Spring Garden Die-namics. If you like bees, HERE you can see a CAS card featuring them. I can’t wait to see what my teammates created for the June Slimline Challenge! Will you join me at the MFT Blog?
