Hello again! I’m back for Day 2 of the MFT March Release Countdown with a slimline card featuring a cute propeller plane.
It’s from the High Flying Adventure stamp set, which includes four planes. They are so fun to color! For this one I used the following Copic markers; R39, R29, R27, R24, R22, R20, C4, C3, C2 and C00. Doesn’t it look shiny and new? To make the blending extra smooth, I finished it with Prismacolor pencils. However I didn’t use a white gel pen for the highlights. I simply colored those parts with the lightest tones R20 and C00.
For the bunnies I used E53, E51, E50, R20, R00, BG13, BG11, B04 and B02. As always, I added Glossy Accents to their noses, but their eyes where too small for that. I also drew little mouths on the ones who are hanging on to the rope, so that it looks like their talking (or screaming, lol).
After I was done with the coloring, I went to work on the sentiment. I split the phrase “Hold Tight… I’ll Be There Soon” into three parts and heat embossed each one on Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock. Then I die cut the banner with the Banner Flags Die-namics (Free with $60) and the speech bubbles with dies from the Peek-a-Boo Wheel Die-namics.
For the sky I did some simple ink blending with Caribbean Sea Premium Dye Ink and the Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil on a panel die cut with the rectangular die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics.
