Hello! Today we’re kicking off the March Release Countdown at the MFT Blog. I’ve created an Easter wreath card with some of today’s featured products.

When I saw the BB Spring Gnomes set, I knew that I wanted to use all of the cute small stamps. The easiest way was by creating a wreath card. HERE’s a similar wreath card that I created with ocean themed mini stamps and a mermaid.

So I stamped, diecut and colored three of each of the carrots, flowers and Easter eggs. I didn’t end up using all of the images, but they are ready to go for a future project!

A square card allowed me to create a bigger wreath, so I used my paper trimmer to cut a 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ (10,8cm x 10,8cm) panel of Smooth White Card Stock and a 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ (12,1cm x 12,1cm) panel of Caribbean Sea Prestige Card Stock (my new favorite). Next, I grabbed the Basket Weave Stencil and Caribbean Sea Premium Dye Ink to create a fun tone on tone effect.

After adhering all of the elements to my 10″ x 5″ (25,4cm x 14,5cm) card base, I went to work on the sentiment. I colored a piece of card stock with yellow Copic markers (Y17, Y15, Y13) and created the word Easter with dies from the Bitty Banner Alphabet Die-namics. I also created a little banner with a partial stamp from the Essential Sentiments set and die from the Skinny Strips Die-namics.
That’s it from me for today. I hope you’re enjoing today’s featured products. Check out the MFT Blog for more info and inspiration. ¡Hasta mañana!
