Time flies when you’re having fun and we’re already down to Day 2 of the MFT February Release Countdown. Today I’m sharing a love themed card with a race track and some cute characters from the Fast Track Friends stamp set.
I started by stamping them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on Copic friendly card stock and die cutting them with the matching dies. Then I colored them with the following Copic markers; r39, r37, r35, r22, W7, W5, Y17, Y15, Y13 (race car), E37, E35, E33, B06, B04, B02, W7 (driver), W7, W3, W1, W00, R20, R37 and R35 (cat).
Next, I die cut the race track with the Fast Track Die-namics out of both Eiffel Tower Prestige Card Stock and Smooth White Card Stock. Before adhering it to my A2 card base of Sour Apple Card Stock, I used it as a template to stamp the sentiment. I of course had to cut it apart, but It doesn’t bother me since I can always put it back together on the acrylic block, if I need to.
Next, I adhered the two characters to the lower edge of the card with thin square dots. As a last touch, I added some hearts die cut out of Red Hot Card Stock with dies from the Mini Mail Die-namics.
