It’s time to kick off the January Card Kit Release Countdown at MFT. I’ve created a cute friendship card with many of the products from the Friendship Card Kit for Day 2.

They have been friends for a life time, sharing both the good and the bad and always keeping each other’s secrets. I’m actually a little bit jealous of their friendship, LOL. My best friend is my sister Luisa, who I haven’t seen in over a year, due to the darn pandemic!

I started by stamping the pair with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on a panel of Copic friendly card stock, die cut with the second largest dies from the Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Then I colored them with the following markers; W10, W7, W5, W3, W00, E33, E31, YR24, YR21, BG07, BG05, R39, R35, RV29, E11 and YR00.

I also added a layer of Glossy Accents to their glasses, for a touch of realism. For the sentiment, I partially die cut the word “friendship” from the Friend & Friendship Die-namics in Butterscotch Card Stock. I paired the word with a gray banner, die cut with the Fishtail Foundations Die-namics (released separately from the kit). On it, I a heat embossed one of the sentiments from the What Friendship Means set.

I balanced the panel with a row of dots, die cut with the Polka Dot Pops Die-namics (released separately from the kit). As a last touch, I added a little heart die cut out of Red Hot Card Stock with one of the dies from the Bitty Banner Alphabet Die-namics. That’s it for today! Make sure to head on to the MFT Blog for more projects and info about the January Card Kit Release.
