Hello again! I’m back to show you a retro flower card that I made for Color Challenge #154 at the MFT Blog.
This week’s palette was a challenge for me… I get so comfortable with my own favorite color combinations that it’s hard to step away from them sometimes.
I struggled with the Limelight, but if that happens to you, just use the difficult color sparingly or skip it all together! As you can see, for my retro flower card, I only used Limelight for the leaves.
I recently ordered some new supplies from the MFT Boutique… among other things, the super cool Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics. It totally inspired this card, because I diecut the four colors of card stock; Tickled Pink, Limelight, Wild Cherry and Tropical Teal, before separating the dies from the stack.

I chose the Little Hello Die-namics and matching stamp from the Well, Hello set for my sentiment.

Lastly but not least, the flowers are from the Stitched Blooms Die-namics, one of my alltime favorite sets of dies.

That’s it for today! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you join in the fun. You could be the lucky winner of a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Store.
